Carmen Carigan
Carmen Carigan has been getting mistaken for her dad over the phone since the year 1997. Hailing from Cincinnati, Ohio and currently living in New York City, Carmen has cultivated a passion for performance from a very young age. Carigan spent most of her waking moments in college dedicated to the award-winning sketch comedy group, University tWits. She served as the organization's President, a writer, performer and director during her three-year stint in the group and drew audiences over 400 (not too shabby for college kids on a Friday night).
Currently, Carigan co-hosts, writes and edits “Liability on the Mic” with Chicago standup and college friend Liz Evans, which has 20 episodes available on Spotify, Apple Music, etc. Carmen is also working on a pilot script, doing standup in New York, and is currently co-writing and producing an hour-long sketch revue with iO Theatre alum Jake Huff.
She's played a deranged neighbor who has completely ruined a murder mystery party. She's mimed a high school romance to Eric Clapton's song "Wonderful Tonight." She's ranged from an undercover mom, a dry commercial director, and a Staten Island middle child who has a bone to pick. The commonality in all of Carigan's work is that she fills up the room with her unique voice and commitment to her characters. She'll make sure that you don't forget her performance.
Carmen is available for an interested in acting, writing, and voiceover roles
